The Yakima Valley (16-11) and the Treasure Valley (19-6) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the Yakima Valley capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-2 win at Elks Memorial .

Jacob Manson racked up two RBIs on four hits for the Yakima Valley. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the first, fourth, and seventh innings.

Landon Messmore put together a nice outing. The Treasure Valley managed just two hits off of the the Yakima Valley's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his 3 1/3 innings of work.

Hugo Lemus improved to 6-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Yakima Valley. He allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings. Lemus struck out five, walked three and gave up five hits.

Adrian Martinez (4-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
