The Yakima Valley (12-9) blew out the Blue Mountain 12-2 on Saturday at Pendleton, OR after pouring on seven runs in the eighth inning.

Jacob Manson had two extra-base hits for the Yakima Valley. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the first and eighth innings.

The Yakima Valley relied on Alex Harker to eat up innings en route to the win. Harker allowed no earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings of work.

Jacob Butcher ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.

The Yakima Valley were sparked by Manson and Ryan Leone, who teamed up for five hits and four RBIs.
