The Yakima Valley (11-9) took home a 15-6 victory over the Wenatchee Valley (7-11) on Thursday at Parker Field , fueled by five runs in the seventh inning.

The Wenatchee Valley were ahead early but they ultimately surrendered the lead for good. The Wenatchee Valley were up until the seventh inning, but the Yakima Valley had other plans for the final outcome, taking the lead back.

Andrew Castillo racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Yakima Valley. He singled in the sixth, seventh, and eighth innings.

Ross Tassara improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Yakima Valley. Tassara struck out three, walked none and gave up one hit.

Allen Willey (0-2) took the loss for the Wenatchee Valley. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
