The Big Bend (6-28) didn't stand a chance on Saturday, as the Spokane (30-12) captured a blowout 9-1 win in six innings at Spokane Falls Community College.

The Spokane scored four runs in the fifth on an RBI single by Shawnee Zink, an RBI double by Katelyn Geyer, and a two-run single by Morgan Mays.

Geyer racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Spokane.

Kelly Taylor improved to 6-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Spokane. He allowed one run over five innings. Taylor struck out four, walked two and gave up five hits.

Nicole Cameron (1-12) took the loss for the Big Bend. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked one and struck out one.
