The bats were busy at Heinz/Ore-Ida Regional Softball on Saturday, and when the dust cleared the Treasure Valley (25-10) had a 10-8 win over the Spokane (23-12) in seven innings.
The two teams combined for 20 hits in the game.
Megan Forsberg had a hot bat for the Treasure Valley. Forsberg went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the second and third innings.
Sydnie Malloy had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the third inning and tripled in the seventh inning.
Bailey Bennett got his tenth win for the Treasure Valley despite allowing seven runs over three innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered six hits.
Kelly Taylor was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in two-thirds of an inning, walked one and struck out one.
