The Spokane (24-12) and the Treasure Valley (25-11) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Spokane that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 9-5 win at Heinz/Ore-Ida Regional Softball.

Tasji Urhausen racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Spokane. He homered in the second inning and singled in the third inning.

Cheyenne Barger had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He homered in the fourth inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Lindsie Scholwinski got his ninth win for the Spokane despite allowing five runs over seven innings. He struck out six, walked one and surrendered 11 hits.

Jessica Capson was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out none.
