The Wenatchee Valley (14-26) beat the Columbia Basin (25-13) 4-3 on Saturday at Columbia Basin Baseball Field behind Wyatt Eckert, who had two extra base hits.

Grubb picked up the win for the Wenatchee Valley. Grubb allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out two over seven innings of work.

Jesse Wantland led the Columbia Basin's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Matthew Jensen (2-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just eight innings, walked three, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
