Third-inning rally sparks blowout win for the Wenatchee Valley, 16-7

The Wenatchee Valley (10-16) blew out the Columbia Basin 16-7 on Wednesday at Paul Thomas Sr. Stadium after pouring on 10 runs in the third inning.

Randy Fuller racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Wenatchee Valley. He singled in the third inning, homered in the sixth inning, and doubled in the eighth inning.

Allen Willey had an impressive outing against the Columbia Basin (17-7)'s lineup. Willey held the Columbia Basin hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Nathan Culver racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Columbia Basin. He homered in the first inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Kody Graham recorded his first win of the year for the Wenatchee Valley. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered seven hits.

Trenton Avery couldn't get it done on the bump for the Columbia Basin, taking a loss. He lasted just zero innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.

The Wenatchee Valley pounded the Columbia Basin pitching, as six hitters combined for 10 hits, 12 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
