The Bellevue make the most of 2 hits in 2-1 victory over the Edmonds

The Bellevue (23-17) and the Edmonds (29-7) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Bellevue that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 2-1 win at Courter Field .

Cody Culp had an impressive outing against the Edmonds' lineup. Culp held the Edmonds hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

A bright spot for the Edmonds in the defeat was Zach Johnson, who allowed only two runs while striking out five.

Johnson couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Edmonds, taking a loss.
