He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.Cody Culp brought the heat against the Skagit Valley during his outing. Culp held the Skagit Valley hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
The Skagit Valley were led by ZACH BEATTY's hitting. BEATTY went 3-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the second, third, and eighth innings.
Zander Clouse got his second win for the Bellevue despite allowing five runs over 7 2/3 innings. Clouse struck out five, walked none and gave up 12 hits.
TYLER HOWLETT (2-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in eight innings, walked three and struck out four.
