Soderqvist's propels the Bellevue past the Shoreline, 10-6

Six first-inning runs helped the Bellevue (13-13) to a 10-6 win over the Shoreline (4-14) at Meridian on Sunday.

It was a good day at the plate for the Bellevue's Kurt Lindemann. Lindemann went 4-5, drove in one and scored three runs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the first, fourth, and ninth innings.

Jacob Zanon racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Shoreline. He tripled in the fifth inning and singled in the second and eighth innings.

Corbin Powers recorded his first win of the year for the Bellevue. He allowed two runs over 2 1/3 innings. Powers struck out one, walked one and gave up two hits.

Mike McCormack ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in three innings, walked four and struck out two.
