Sunday was a great day for Nick Kiel, as Kiel tossed a shutout to carry the Bellevue (13-13) to a 1-0 victory over the Shoreline at Meridian in seven innings.

Kiel struck out 10, paving the way for a the Bellevue win. The Bellevue's pitcher tossed seven innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

Brad Bennett pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out two.

Bennett (0-4) took the loss for the Shoreline (4-14).
