The Pierce (10-9) beat the Bellevue (13-13) 3-0 on Saturday at Mt Tahoma High School behind Dalton Elmer, who went 1-2.

Ryan Schmitten had an impressive outing against the Bellevue's lineup. Schmitten gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Tyson Erickson improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Pierce. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered seven hits.

Alex Hatch (3-3) took the loss for the Bellevue. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
