The Centralia jump on the South Puget Sound early and coast to 8-0 win

The Centralia (16-11) shut the door early on the South Puget Sound (0-20), capturing an 8-0 victory on Friday at Centralia .

The game was decided quickly as the Centralia exerted their will early with six runs in the first three innings.

An RBI triple by Haley Graham, an RBI double by Erika Brower, and an error in the first inning and an RBI single by Megan Moore and a two-run home run by Graham during the second inning fueled the Centralia's offense early.

Graham racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Centralia.

Brooke Williams had an impressive outing against the South Puget Sound's lineup. Williams held the South Puget Sound hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five.

Amanda Rupright couldn't get it done on the mound for the South Puget Sound, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked two and struck out one.
