Two pitchers combined to throw a no-hitter for the Tacoma (16-1) in a 12-0 victory in seven innings over the Green River (4-15) on Saturday at Minnitti Field .
Stephen White and Quinn Eldridge rounded out their sterling stat line with no strikeouts and no walks.Everything was working at the plate for the the Tacoma in the third. In the inning the Tacoma scored seven runs.
CJ Hicks racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Tacoma. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fourth innings.
The Green River couldn't get anything going as long as Eldridge was pitching. Eldridge held the Green River hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five.
Braulio Torres-Perez ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked five and struck out four.
