The Clackamas jump on the South Puget Sound early and coast to 11-0 win

The Clackamas (23-1) jumped out to an early lead on the South Puget Sound (0-15) and captured an 11-0 victory on Saturday at Skagit Valley.

With 11 runs in the first three innings, the Clackamas left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI triple by Rashaun Sells, an RBI double by Kiara Vasquez, a single by Samantha Owirka, an RBI double by Taylor Gould, and a two-run single by Sierra Lamotte in the first inning and an RBI double by Sells, an RBI single by Owirka, and an RBI single by Owirka during the second inning fueled the Clackamas' offense early.

Sells had three extra-base hits for the Clackamas.

Cassidy Edwards got the win, running his season record to 3-0. Edwards struck out eight, walked none and gave up no hits.

Amanda Rupright was charged with his thirteenth loss of the year. He allowed 11 runs in five innings, walked one and struck out one.
