The Lower Columbia (22-6) took down the Green River 7-1 on Saturday at David Story Field after slamming the Green River (4-22) with four runs in the eighth inning.
Makaio Mobbs racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Lower Columbia. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the eighth inning.
Hunter Wells had an impressive outing against the Green River's lineup. Wells gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out six during his seven innings of work.
Jacob Carson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 7 2/3 innings, walked five and struck out two.
