The Mt. Hood (11-18) scored three runs in the ninth to cap a 7-1 win over the Chemeketa (14-16) on Saturday.

Evan Jones racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Mt. Hood. He singled in the fourth and fifth innings and doubled in the ninth inning.

Zane Bambusch picked up the win for the Mt. Hood. Bambusch allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Martin Brown couldn't get it done on the mound for the Chemeketa, taking a loss. He lasted just 7 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
