The SW Oregon need walk-off single to beat the Mt. Hood, 4-3

A walk-off single from Alejandro Barajas brought home the winning run for the SW Oregon (14-11) in a 4-3 victory over the Mt. Hood (7-17) in 10 innings at SWOCC Athletic Fields on Friday.

Barajas racked up two RBIs on one hit for the SW Oregon. He singled in the tenth innings.

Hunter Combs led the SW Oregon's offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the fifth inning.

Dalton Ridgway allowed two earned runs, six hits and two walks while striking out six over nine innings of work.

Jordan Farley improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the SW Oregon. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out none, walked two and surrendered one hit.

Evan Jones ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
