A walk-off sacrifice fly from Erik Long brought home the winning run for the Lane (13-8) in a 4-3 victory over the Chemeketa (10-11) in 11 innings at Titan Field on Sunday.
Long went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Lane. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.
The Chemeketa had no answer for Travis Boggs, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Boggs held the Chemeketa hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
Cody Allison ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed one run.
