The Lower Columbia (19-13) beat the Chemeketa (21-17) 6-1 in seven innings on Friday at Wallace Marine Park behind Haley Hibbs, who went 1-3.

Sonny Dorhofer picked up the win for the Lower Columbia. Dorhofer pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, eight hits and two walks while striking out one.

Destinee Chang was solid at the plate for the Chemeketa. Chang went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning.

Emilie Leach couldn't get it done on the mound for the Chemeketa, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
