Alex Webb kept the Swift Current Indians (4-1) off the board during his six innings of work and the Melville Millionaires (4-2) beat the Swift Current Indians, 9-1.

Webb struck out three and allowed two walks and four hits.

Everything was working at the plate for the the Melville Millionaires in the eighth. The Swift Current Indians had no answer as the Melville Millionaires scored five runs.

Matt Helms paced the Melville Millionaires at the plate. Helms went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth and fifth innings and homered in the ninth inning.

Sean Callegari (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked none, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
