Alex Webb held the Regina Red Sox (1-1) scoreless for six innings to boost the Melville Millionaires (1-1) to a 9-1 victory.

Webb allowed seven hits, two walks and struck out three.

Five runs in the first three innings helped the Melville Millionaires blow out the Regina Red Sox. An RBI single by Garrett Killgore during the first inning and an RBI single by Kevin Biro, an RBI single by Biro, a sacrifice fly by Ben Villafuerte, and a two-run home run by Matt Helms in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Melville Millionaires.

Helms racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Melville Millionaires.

William Shell (0-1) took the loss for the Regina Red Sox. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked one and struck out four.
