Lewis Guilbeau went 2-3 as the Liberal (KS) Bee Jays (1-1) took home a 4-1 victory over the Albuquerque (NM) Diablos (0-2) at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium on Sunday.

He tripled in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

The Albuquerque (NM) Diablos couldn't get anything going so long as Seth Davis was on the hill. The Albuquerque (NM) Diablos managed just one hit off of Davis, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out six during his four innings of work.

Brennen Flaherty brought the heat against the Liberal (KS) Bee Jays during his outing. Flaherty gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Tyler Wiedenfeld improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Liberal (KS) Bee Jays. He allowed one run over five innings. Wiedenfeld struck out five, walked two and gave up one hit.

Brendan Wanchek was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
