Crosbie helps the Saskatchewan down the New Brunswick 5-2

Bryce Crosbie went 4-4 at the plate, sparking the Saskatchewan (3-1) to a 5-2 victory in seven innings over the New Brunswick (3-1) on Friday at St-Etienne-des-Gres.

He singled in the second and fourth innings and doubled in the first and sixth innings.

Kade Erickson looked sharp on the mound. Erickson gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Chase Nistor recorded his first win of the year for the Saskatchewan. He allowed two runs over five innings. Nistor struck out five, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Caleb Little couldn't get it done on the bump for the New Brunswick, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
