Christian Lavoie held the Torrington Titans (4-7) scoreless for six innings to boost the Pittsfield Suns (6-5) to a 6-4 victory.

Lavoie struck out six and allowed two walks and three hits.

Adam Whitt recorded his second win of the year for the Pittsfield Suns. He allowed one run over three innings. Whitt struck out four, walked none and gave up three hits.

Tom Quicker was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
