Desposito leads the APOCALYPSE to 30-18 win over the EAST END SCREENPRINTING

Monday was a great day for Mike Desposito, as he hit three home runs to carry the APOCALYPSE (2-0) to a 30-18 victory over the EAST END SCREENPRINTING (2-2) at Bellport Field # two in seven innings.

Desposito racked up nine RBIs on four hits for the APOCALYPSE. He homered in the third, fifth, and sixth innings and tripled in the seventh inning.

The APOCALYPSE found themselves down in the second inning but managed to fight back and claim the win.

Kevin Spence went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the APOCALYPSE. He singled in the fourth, sixth, and seventh innings.

The two teams combined for 48 runs and 57 hits, including zero extra base hits.

The APOCALYPSE ran up the score, scoring runs at will until the final out. The APOCALYPSE scored six runs in the last one innings to finish off the blowout win. The APOCALYPSE scored six runs in the seventh on an RBI single by Spence, an RBI single by Anthony Basile, a three-run triple by Desposito, and an RBI single by John Monahan.

Even though David Lopez allowed 18 runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his second of the season. He struck out none, walked three and surrendered 28 hits.

Bruce Graham ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed 30 runs in seven innings, walked 10 and struck out none.

The APOCALYPSE easily handled the EAST END SCREENPRINTING pitching as nine hitters combined for 26 hits, 27 RBIs and 27 runs scored.
