William Shell kept the Weyburn Beavers (13-23) off the board during his six innings of work and the Regina Red Sox (17-18) beat the Weyburn Beavers, 11-0.

An RBI single by Eric Baker, an RBI single by Baker, a groundout by Cody Maas, and an RBI single by Chris Untereiner during the first inning and an RBI double by Hector Rivera in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Regina Red Sox.

Chase Benfield got on base four times in the game for the Regina Red Sox. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first and fourth innings.

Ryan Shaw (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed nine runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked four and struck out none.
