A seven-run explosion in the fourth inning hoisted the Swift Current Indians (21-13) to a 9-2 win over the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets at Mitchell Field on Monday.
Jake Gonzalez racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Swift Current Indians. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the sixth inning.
Chris Haddeland racked up eight strikeouts in the the Swift Current Indians win. Haddeland allowed one earned run on three hits and one walk over 6 2/3 innings.
Matt Cook (4-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked three and struck out one.
