Jeff Pool kept the Weyburn Beavers (8-15) off the board during his six innings of work and the Yorkton Cardinals (9-13) beat the Weyburn Beavers, 12-2.

Pool struck out six and allowed two walks and one hit.

The biggest inning for the Yorkton Cardinals was the third. The Weyburn Beavers had no answer as the Yorkton Cardinals scored 10 runs.

Kameron Mizzell was solid at the plate for the Yorkton Cardinals. Mizzell went 4-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.

Chris Housley (1-3) took the loss for the Weyburn Beavers. He allowed 10 runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out four.
