A walk-off solo home run from Will Thorp brought home the winning run for the Swift Current Indians (14-5) in a 2-1 victory over the Melville Millionaires (10-9) at Mitchell Field on Wednesday.

Thorp was hot from the plate for the Swift Current Indians. Thorp went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the ninth inning.

Michael Noteware handled the Melville Millionaires' lineup with ease, racking up five strikeouts. Noteware allowed no earned runs, five hits and no walks over five innings.

Justin Kehler recorded his third win of the year for the Swift Current Indians. Kehler struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Callaway Kirkpatrick ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
