The Okotoks Dawgs (12-3) beat the Moose Jaw Miller Express 11-3 on Friday at Ross Wells Park after a six-run explosion in the third inning.

David Head racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Okotoks Dawgs. He singled in the third and ninth innings.

Matt Kirk had a hot bat for the Moose Jaw Miller Express (7-12). Kirk went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.

Aaron Conyers improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Okotoks Dawgs. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered 11 hits.

Logan Carter (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in three innings, walked three and struck out four.
