The Okotoks Dawgs (11-3) and the Swift Current Indians (11-5) both had scoring chances on Thursday, but it was the Okotoks Dawgs that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 7-3 win at Mitchell Field.

Ryan Serrato racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Okotoks Dawgs. He homered in the ninth inning.

The Swift Current Indians had no answer for Codi Scanlon, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Swift Current Indians managed just one hit off of the the Okotoks Dawgs' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out one during his three innings of work.

Matt Henriksen racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Swift Current Indians. He homered in the sixth innings.

Chris Villalobos improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Okotoks Dawgs. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered eight hits.

Cody Chartrand ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
