The Swift Current Indians (10-4) and the Moose Jaw Miller Express (6-9) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Swift Current Indians that eventually took advantage of them in an 8-5 win at Mitchell Field.

Chad Schultz was hot from the plate for the Swift Current Indians. Schultz went 3-4. He singled in the third, sixth, and eighth innings.

Jake Gonzalez looked sharp on the mound. Gonzalez held the Moose Jaw Miller Express hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

The Moose Jaw Miller Express were led by Michael Corso's hitting. Corso went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second, sixth, and eighth innings.

Justin Kehler improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Swift Current Indians. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Ben Bridges ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked three and struck out four.
