Ryan Bourcier went 2-3 as the Weyburn Beavers (2-2) took home a 4-1 victory over the Yorkton Cardinals (2-3) at Jubilee Park on Thursday.

Michael Crain picked up the win for the Weyburn Beavers. Crain pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and five walks while striking out five.

The Weyburn Beavers couldn't get anything going so long as David Toth was on the hill. The Weyburn Beavers managed just three hits off of Toth, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his four innings of work.

RJ Page (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
