Early lead gives the Lethbridge Bulls easy victory over the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets, 11-0

Story by Narrative Science.

The Lethbridge Bulls (2-3) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (0-5), recording an 11-0 victory on Thursday at Spitz Stadium.

With eight runs in the first three innings, the Lethbridge Bulls left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A two-run single by Travis Steinke and an RBI single by Mitch Dornblut during the first inning helped the Lethbridge Bulls put some runs on the board early.

Evan Comeau went a perfect 2-2 at the dish for the Lethbridge Bulls. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

The Saskatoon Yellow Jackets couldn't get anything going so long as Tyson Hudson was on the hill. Hudson held the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Steven Latos ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed eight runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked six and struck out three.
