Guillaume Gingras collected three hits as the Medicine Hat Mavericks (21-3) took home a 6-4 victory over the Moose Jaw Miller Express (11-15) at Jefferies Park/kinsmen Park on Monday.

Zack Winchester improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He allowed four runs over six innings. Winchester struck out seven, walked two and gave up five hits.
Todd Leavitt ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
