Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Friday as the Roswell Invaders (41-15) outscored the Alpine Cowboys (34-22) 11-8.

The two teams combined for 21 hits in the game.

Chad Kruse racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Roswell Invaders. He singled in the second, fifth, seventh, and ninth innings.

Eric Herman racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Alpine Cowboys. He doubled in the first inning, homered in the fourth inning, and singled in the eighth inning.

Cody Lewis recorded his first win of the year for the Roswell Invaders. He allowed two runs over one inning. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered one hit.

Jeremy Burright (1-1) took the loss for the Alpine Cowboys. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked four, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
