A great effort by Matt Scruggs carried the Alpine Cowboys (32-20) to a 16-5 win over the Santa Fe Fuego (25-26) on Sunday at Fort Marcy Park.
Scruggs hit two home runs for the Alpine Cowboys. Scruggs went 2-4 in the game with five RBIs and two runs scored. Scruggs homered in the second and fourth innings.
