An ace performance by Ryan Sasaki hoisted the Laredo Lemurs (10-2) to an 8-0 win over the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (4-8) on Sunday at Newman Outdoor Field.

Sasaki kept the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks off the board during his seven innings of work. Sasaki struck out eight and allowed two walks and three hits.

The Laredo Lemurs' bats came to life in the third inning. In the inning the Laredo Lemurs scored five runs.

John Allen racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Laredo Lemurs. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.

Taylor Stanton (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out four.
