The Lincoln Saltdogs make the most of 6 hits in 5-4 victory over the Kansas City T-Bones

The Lincoln Saltdogs (3-3) and the Kansas City T-Bones (2-4) each put runners in scoring position on Tuesday, but the Lincoln Saltdogs capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 5-4 win at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

The Lincoln Saltdogs held off the Kansas City T-Bones, as the Kansas City T-Bones were unable to overcome a four-run sixth inning deficit.

The Kansas City T-Bones scored on a solo home run by Jairo Perez in the seventh inning and a solo home run by Matt Padgett and a solo home run by Felix Molina in the ninth inning. Unfortunately, the Kansas City T-Bones weren't able to take the lead back.

Dennis Raben put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Lincoln Saltdogs. He homered in the fifth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Joe Bisenius got the win for the Lincoln Saltdogs thanks to seven strikeouts. Bisenius allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over six innings.

Shaun Garceau (0-2) took the loss for the Kansas City T-Bones. He lasted just seven innings, walked none, struck out eight, and allowed five runs.

Ian Gac, Dan Carroll and Raben helped lead the Lincoln Saltdogs. They combined for four hits and four RBIs.
