Nathan Moreau baffled the Gary SouthShore RailCats, striking out eight batters. Moreau allowed one earned run on three hits and one walk over five innings.
A bright spot for the Gary SouthShore RailCats in the defeat was Stephen Hiscock, who allowed only two runs while striking out seven.
