The Lincoln Saltdogs (4-3) pounded the Gary SouthShore RailCats (4-3) on Friday 10-4 at U.S. Steel Yard.

Matt Forgatch racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Lincoln Saltdogs. He homered in the third inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Pete Parise got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed one run over five innings. Parise struck out one, walked three and gave up three hits.

Ari Ronick (1-1) took the loss for the Gary SouthShore RailCats. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
