Mark Baptiste hit two home runs, but it wasn't enough to carry the Honey Badgers (0-1) to a win on Monday, as the Honey Badgers fell to the WBAA/ TEAM NAG (3-0) 20-9 at Bretton Woods in six innings.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 29 total runs and 37 hits during the game.

The WBAA/ TEAM NAG blew out the Honey Badgers thanks to 25 hits, including zero extra base hits. The WBAA/ TEAM NAG scored seven runs in the sixth on an RBI double by Kim Greene, a two-run single by Denise Salzman, a two-run triple by Jackie Boyd, and a two-run home run by Jim Baletti.

Baletti racked up three RBIs on three hits for the WBAA/ TEAM NAG.

Jeff Boardman got the win for the WBAA/ TEAM NAG despite allowing nine runs over six innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered 12 hits.

The WBAA/ TEAM NAG easily handled the Honey Badgers pitching as eight hitters combined for 20 hits, 14 RBIs and 17 runs scored.

Scott Savage was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 20 runs in six innings, walked one and struck out one.
