Alisa Goler had three RBIs, helping the Chicago Bandits (26-9) to a 5-2 victory over the NY NJ Comets (6-29) on Friday at The Ballpark at Rosemont.
She singled in the third inning and homered in the sixth inning.The NY NJ Comets couldn't get anything going as long as Monica Abbott was on the mound. Abbott held the NY NJ Comets hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out six.
Amanda Kamekona did her best to jumpstart the offense for the NY NJ Comets, reaching base three times. She scored one run and had one RBI. She homered in the first inning.
Angel Bunner (1-7) took the loss for the NY NJ Comets. She lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
