An outstanding effort by Cat Osterman spurred the USSSA Pride (3-1) to a 17-0 win over the NY/NJ Comets (1-3) on Tuesday at Osceola Co Stadium.

The offense exploded for the the USSSA Pride in the first. In the inning the USSSA Pride scored nine runs.

Osterman improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the USSSA Pride. She struck out 14, walked three and surrendered no hits.

Sarah Plourde was the game's losing pitcher. She allowed eight runs in one-third of an inning, walked four and struck out one.
