The So. Ohio Copperheads (18-6) scored four runs in the eighth to cap a 12-4 win over the Lexington Hustlers (11-14) on Monday.

Taylor Burch racked up three RBIs on two hits for the So. Ohio Copperheads. He homered in the third inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Eddie Fitzpatrick struck out six hitters en route to the the So. Ohio Copperheads win. Fitzpatrick allowed no earned runs on seven hits and one walk over six innings.

Despite the loss, the Lexington Hustlers' Joey Batuello dominated the So. Ohio Copperheads' batters, giving up two runs and striking out six.

Jamie King couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Lexington Hustlers, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
