A walk-off single from Brian Wolfe brought home the winning run for the Terre Haute Rex (30-27) in a 5-4 victory over the Danville Dans at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stad on Saturday.
Wolfe racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Terre Haute Rex. He homered in the eighth inning and singled in the ninth inning.
The Danville Dans (40-18) were led by Trey Russell's hitting. Russell went 2-3 and scored two runs. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.
Josh Dove got the win, running his season record to 2-1. Dove struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.
Jared Burton was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
