Jordan Schwartz brought the heat against the West Virginia Miners during his outing. Schwartz held the West Virginia Miners hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Rolando Celis recorded his second win of the year for the West Virginia Miners. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered five hits.

Robert Hawkins couldn't get it done on the mound for the Butler Blue Sox, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
