Jake Powers kept the Danville Dans (35-16) off the board during his six innings of work and the Quincy Gems (32-18) beat the Danville Dans, 4-0.

Powers struck out six and allowed five walks and four hits.

Steven Pallares had two extra-base hits for the Quincy Gems. He doubled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Troy Conyers (5-1) took the loss for the Danville Dans. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out seven, and allowed three runs.
